Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your role will involve preparing and serving drinks, maintaining cleanliness, and contributing to a positive dining experience.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with standard recipes.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene at all times.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and providing recommendations as needed.
- Manage the bar area efficiently, including restocking supplies and cleaning surfaces to ensure a tidy environment.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic maths for billing purposes.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders effectively during peak hours.
Requirements
- Previous experience in bartending or a similar hospitality role is preferred but not essential.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact positively with customers.
- Basic maths skills for handling payments and managing tabs.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A passion for providing outstanding customer service and creating memorable experiences for guests.
