Essential requirement: To be considered for this role, you must hold a recognised 3-year Diploma level Counselling qualification (or equivalent) and have at least 2 years' post-qualification counselling experience. This needs to be clearly evidenced in your supporting statement.

We're seeking a compassionate and skilled counsellor to join our Counselling and Wellbeing Team, supporting people affected by sight loss across the UK. You'll provide counselling, emotional support and wellbeing sessions to adults, children and young people, helping them navigate the emotional impact of sight loss and build confidence for the future.
This is a varied role that combines one-to-one counselling with wider service development. Alongside managing your own caseload, you'll contribute to wellbeing sessions, facilitate small group work, and help deliver training to professionals. You'll work closely with colleagues and external organisations to ensure people receive the support and information they need at the right time.
Working remotely via telephone, online platforms and Microsoft Teams, you'll be part of a supportive, experienced team committed to improving wellbeing and increasing access to emotional support for people with sight loss.
