We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate and hardworking individual for our full time, permanent position based in the retail sector of our family run business. This is an exciting opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge of the coffee business, and we are looking for someone who will 'fit like a glove' in our team and embrace the challenges of working in the retail coffee industry. You will possess a real passion for customer service and be a confident communicator within our friendly hardworking team.
Role Overview
You’ll be working in our busy retail coffee shop, serving customers, preparing drinks, and handling our range of freshly roasted coffees and speciality teas. You’ll also assist with our online sales, helping to bag, label, and dispatch mail orders — so being comfortable with computers is important.
Key Responsibilities
- Serving customers and ensuring excellent service at all times
- Preparing and packaging our teas and coffees for both retail and online orders
- Using basic computer systems for order processing and stock management
- Keeping the shop clean, tidy, and well-presented
- Working as part of a small, friendly team in a busy environment
What We’re Looking For
- Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused
- Computer literate (basic confidence using email, online systems, etc.)
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, with a positive attitude and strong attention to detail
Hours
- 4/5 days per week (including some weekends)
- Permanent position with full training provided
