Industrial Cleaning Operative
Location: Leicester Pay: £12.71 per hour (Days)
Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off Hours: 6:00am–6:00pm
The Role
We are looking for reliable and hardworking Industrial Cleaning Operatives to join a busy site in Leicester.
This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for keeping large industrial machinery, equipment and working areas clean and maintained to a high standard.
The role would suit someone who enjoys practical work, is physically fit and isn't afraid of getting stuck in. You will be working as part of a team to ensure the site remains clean, safe and operating efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out thorough cleaning of large industrial machinery and equipment
- Clean production areas, floors and surrounding workspaces
- Remove dirt, dust and build-up from machinery
- Use cleaning equipment and products safely and correctly
- Follow cleaning schedules and site procedures
- Ensure machinery and work areas are cleaned to a high standard
- Report any damage, faults or safety concerns to management
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Follow all health and safety procedures and wear the required PPE
About You
- Previous industrial, factory or cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
- Comfortable working around large machinery
- Physically fit and able to carry out a hands-on role
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Good attention to detail
- Able to work as part of a team
- Comfortable working a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern
- Willing to work both days and nights on a rolling basis
