About the role
Would you enjoy flexible work where your cooking skills help support the wellbeing of older people? Join Southlands as a Relief Assistant Cook and enjoy the freedom to work when you're available while helping prepare and serve nutritious meals for residents. You'll assist with menu planning, food preparation and kitchen operations, while maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.
Working alongside a friendly team, you'll play an important role in delivering quality meals that support residents' health and wellbeing. You'll also have the opportunity to take responsibility for the kitchen when the Head Cook is off shift, building your confidence and broadening your experience. If you have experience in a commercial kitchen and basic food hygiene knowledge, we'd love to hear from you.
