Duties
- Conceptualize and develop original fashion designs, sketches, and technical drawings using digital design platforms.
- Utilize software such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and SketchUp to create detailed design presentations and prototypes.
- Collaborate with the product development team to translate creative ideas into tangible samples, ensuring alignment with brand vision.
- Conduct market research to stay ahead of emerging trends, fabrics, color palettes, and innovative materials.
- Prepare detailed technical specifications and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) files for manufacturing processes.
- Oversee photoshoots and styling sessions to showcase new collections effectively through photography and web design elements.
- Use 3D modeling tools like Maya or Sketch to visualize designs in a realistic setting before production.
- Maintain organized records of design iterations, mood boards, and project timelines to streamline workflow.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in fashion design or a related field with a strong portfolio showcasing digital design skills.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), along with CAD software such as Maya or SketchUp.
- Skilled in web design principles and graphic design to create engaging online content and lookbooks.
- Experience with photography, styling, and visual storytelling to enhance collection presentations.
- Knowledge of HTML and CSS for integrating designs into web platforms is a plus.
- Strong understanding of fabric selection, pattern making, and garment construction processes.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
