Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and comfort for our guests. Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas according to established standards
- Change bed linens, towels, and replenish amenities as required
- Vacuum, sweep, mop floors, and dust surfaces to maintain cleanliness
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used safely and stored properly
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a secure working environment
- Assist with additional duties such as laundry or stock replenishment when necessary
Experience
- Previous hotel experience or background in hospitality is highly desirable
- Janitorial experience is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities within a fast-paced environment
