This role is responsible for all aspects of audit and compliance for the organisation, ensuring the Company maintains its ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001 accreditations.
The role works with all departments to ensure quality systems are introduced, maintained and developed, continually improving the way the business operates and ensuring processes and procedures reflect this.

Plan and carry out ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001 audits

Understand EcoVadis requirements and support the annual submission (Training available)

Manage all quality compliance activities

Take responsibility for risk assessment, audit review, monitoring and managing quality compliance within the organisation

Continually check the accuracy of the quality system

Chair quarterly quality meetings

Maintain accurate quality and compliance records

Carry out internal audits on agreed timescales

Liaise with department heads on action points resulting from internal audits

Collaborate with the management team to ensure the entire Company is aware of compliance requirements and issues

Develop internal controls and policies designed to ensure all compliance requirements are met

Work closely with department managers to review department policies for compliance issues

Deal with non-conformances in a timely manner

Knowledge and experience of managing quality and compliance within an organisation

Understanding of quality audits, with experience of carrying them out

Ability to feedback and implement changes to processes and procedures to meet quality audit results

Proven competence in regulatory and legal requirements

Leadership ability with excellent team-working skills

High level of commercial awareness

Advanced knowledge of computer databases and Office 365

Strong understanding of current legislation on all aspects of compliance and audits
