Job Summary
Empowering U are a complex care provider supporting individuals to live a fulfilled and person centered life.
Joining the Empowering U team supporting this specific individual in their own home on a 1-1 basis. You will be instrumental in the delivery of all areas of support with this individual who loves to be out in the community.
Daily tasks will vary from prompting of day-to-day personal tasks including medication administration, to support with, trips in the community, cooking and baking, playing music and living a fulfilled, safe and enjoyable life.
Our service user has EUPD (Emotionally unstable personality disorder) and Autism and a history of self-harm
You must have experience supporting individuals in the community and be passionate about delivering the highest standards of care and support at all times.
For this service user and her needs, she require's female support workers

Duties
- Supporting with personal care
- Supporting with healthy diet and nutrition
- Administering medication
- Follow the PBS plan (positive behaviour support)
- Maintain a clean and safe environment through proper cleaning and sanitation procedures
- Implement individualized support plans tailored to our service user
- Document observations and report any concerns to the office
- Engage service user in social activities to promote mental and emotional well-being
Experience
- Prior experience working with Individuals in there own homes for a set number of hours
- Experience with medication administration
- Experience with EUPD , Autism and self harm
- Experience following support plan and risk assessments
