Responsibilities
- Load and unload shipments efficiently using appropriate techniques and equipment
- Operate forklifts safely to move materials around the warehouse
- Manage inventory using warehouse management systems to track stock levels and locations
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, verifying incoming and outgoing goods
- Handle materials with care, ensuring proper storage and organization
- Conduct regular mechanical checks on equipment to ensure safety and functionality
- Support warehouse management in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace
Requirements
- Proven warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain one upon hire
- Experience with warehouse management systems is highly desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Mechanical knowledge or construction experience is a plus
- Strong understanding of materials handling techniques and safety protocols
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude toward teamwork
