Early Years Practitioner- Haswell
Full Time - All Year Round
Starting Salary £28,365.68 (dependent upon experience) *
We’re looking for someone who has a Level 3 early years qualification and really enjoys working with young children, bringing plenty of energy and enthusiasm to play and learning, both indoors and outside.
You should care about doing a good job, be able and happy to take the lead, and be willing to think about what’s working well, and what could be improved, so that children get the best possible experience. It’s also important that you see how valuable outdoor and nature‑based play is, and how it helps children to feel happy, motivated and confident.
At Castle Kindergarten Haswell, you’ll join a supportive, welcoming team where your contribution genuinely matters. You’ll have opportunities to build your skills, access high‑quality training to help you grow with us, all while making a real difference to children and their families every day.
This is a full-time role. The nursery is open Monday to Friday, 7.30am–6pm, with shift patterns between these times.
As an employer we contribute 5% into the staff pension and provide a 25% childcare discount along with a companywide Christmas closure between Christmas and New Year each year. We also give a paid lunch break and an annual winter wellness day.
