- We are seeking a friendly and organised Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk. This role requires strong administrative skills and a keen attention to detail, as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Greet patients warmly upon arrival and check them in for their appointments
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments efficiently
- Handle incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries with professionalism
- Maintain accurate patient records and update information as necessary
- Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient care and communication
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols
Requirements
- Previous experience in an office or administrative role is preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organisational abilities with a focus on attention to detail
- Proficient in using computer systems and dental software (experience with specific dental software is a plus)
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated
- A friendly disposition with a passion for providing excellent patient care
