Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems using hand tools and power tools
- Follow detailed schematics and technical drawings to ensure precise work execution
- Operate welding equipment and fabrication tools to create custom roofing components when necessary
- Support heavy lifting and material handling to transport shingles, metal sheets, and other roofing materials safely
- Use plumbing, masonry, and carpentry skills to prepare surfaces and ensure structural integrity of roofing projects
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite by properly storing tools and disposing of debris
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
Skills
- Knowledge of schematics, technical drawings, and construction plans
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques
- Experience with roofing installation, repair, or maintenance is highly desirable
