Position Overview
We are currently looking for an experienced Pipe Fabrication Welder/fitter to join our fabrication division. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding and fabricating piping systems to specification, ensuring high levels of accuracy, safety, and workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform welding of pipework using TIG, MIG, and MMA processes (as applicable), coded welding in mild and stainless steel
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, isometrics, and fabrication sketches
- Fabricate pipe spools, brackets, and structural components to required tolerances
- Carry out fit-up, tack welding, cutting, and preparation of materials
- Conduct welds in accordance with industry standards and company procedures
- Work collaboratively with supervisors, inspectors, and fellow fabricators
- Maintain a safe and tidy workspace, following all HSE requirements
- Participate in weld testing and quality assurance processes as required
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience as a pipe welder in mild and stainless steel
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications
- Proficiency in TIG/MIG/MMA welding processes (include any specific requirements if needed)
- Current welding certifications (or the ability to re-test) coded would be an advantage
- Experience working with stainless steel, carbon steel piping
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid CSCS card

Pay: £22.00-£35.00 per hour
