We are seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to lead and strengthen our compliance framework as the business continues to grow. You will play a central role in ensuring that regulatory obligations, internal policies and high standards of conduct are embedded across the organisation.
This is a hands-on role for a commercially minded compliance professional who can investigate issues objectively, provide clear advice to senior stakeholders and turn regulatory requirements into practical operational processes. You will be confident managing competing priorities, working independently and collaborating with teams across the business to achieve consistently strong customer and regulatory outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee and continuously improve the organisation’s compliance policies, procedures, controls and monitoring framework.
- Provide practical, timely compliance advice to colleagues and senior management on regulatory requirements, risk and good governance.
- Lead investigations into complex compliance matters, customer concerns, incidents and potential breaches, ensuring findings are documented, evidence-based and resolved appropriately.
- Maintain robust records of compliance activity, risk assessments, investigations, decisions and remedial actions.
- Identify regulatory, operational and conduct risks, escalating material issues and recommending proportionate solutions.
- Carry out compliance monitoring and assurance reviews, tracking actions through to completion.
- Support regulatory reporting, audit activity and responses to information requests where required.
- Deliver or coordinate compliance training and communications to promote a strong culture of accountability and awareness.
- Work closely with operational and product teams to identify root causes, improve processes and prevent recurring issues.
- Keep informed of relevant regulatory developments and ensure policies, controls and business practices remain up to date.
- Promote fair, transparent and consistent outcomes, with sound judgement and integrity at the heart of all decisions.
About you
- Proven experience in a compliance, risk, regulatory or financial-crime role within a regulated financial services or corporate services environment.
- Strong knowledge of applicable UK regulatory requirements, including AML, KYC, sanctions, data protection and conduct-risk principles where relevant to the business.
- Experience conducting investigations, assessing evidence and preparing clear written findings and recommendations.
- Ability to interpret complex regulations and communicate requirements clearly to non-specialist stakeholders.
- Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to prepare professional reports, policies, correspondence and management information.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage a varied workload, prioritise effectively and meet deadlines.
- A thoughtful, objective and solution-focused approach to problem-solving.
- Confidence to challenge constructively, escalate concerns where necessary and uphold high ethical standards.
- Professional qualifications in compliance, risk, AML or financial crime are desirable.
Benefits
We offer a professional and supportive environment where you can make a meaningful impact on how the business operates. Our benefits package includes:

- A collaborative, high-accountability culture where ideas, constructive challenge and professional judgement are valued.
