Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods.
- 4-5 days per week
- Monday-Saturday
- 5am start
- £15.00 ph Monday-Friday & £17.75 ph Saturday
- Ongoing/ Temporayr to Permanent role
Duties
- Operate HGV Class 2 vehicles, in compliance with all road safety regulations and company policies
- Deliver goods to commercial shops across the Southwest
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any faults or issues promptly
- Using roll cages
- Assist with loading and unloading as required, ensuring accuracy and care during handling
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding schedules or delays
- Follow all health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial driving on HGV 2 Vehicles- 1 year+
- Full up to date CPC
- Knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for transporting goods using HGV vehicles
- Ability to work independently, demonstrating organisational skills and reliability in meeting deadlines
