Zebedees are the UK’s leading nursery meals provider, serving over 13,000 high quality, nutritious meals a day for nursery children across the South East. We are a busy high production catering business in Laughton, located between Hailsham and Lewes (and we can offer free transport!).
We are currently recruiting for two Kitchen Assistant's to join our prep team:
You will be required to:
- Prepare high volume ingredients by hand and/or with the use of our modern, high tech machinery
- Work on different prepping machines on a rotational basis
- Assist with service, portioning meals ready for delivery
- General kitchen duties and cleaning including operating the commercial dishwasher
- Be prepared for heavy lifting due to the high-volume nature of our stock and produce
You should be able to:
- Work in a time pressured and sometimes stressful environment
- Work with recurring tasks in a high-volume role
- Have previously worked in a catering environment
- Work as part of a team
- Be flexible according to the needs of business

- Straight shifts working 5am to 2.15pm Monday to Friday
