Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Senior Service Advisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing service department operations, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and establish rapport to understand their vehicle needs and concerns.
- Provide detailed explanations of recommended services, repairs, and maintenance options.
- Upsell additional services and products to maximise revenue while ensuring customer needs are met.
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs and services.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, service history, and billing information.
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
- Assist in training junior staff members on customer service standards and technical procedures.
- Keep the service area organised, clean, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Service Advisor or similar role within the automotive or mechanical industry.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to effectively communicate technical information to customers.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build lasting relationships.
- Demonstrated ability in upselling services and products to enhance revenue streams.
- Proficiency in cash handling, point-of-sale systems, and administrative tasks.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a professional demeanour.

Pay: £28,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
