Job Overview
Are you friendly, organised and creative? Would you like the chance to help shape the patient experience and online presence of a growing private healthcare clinic?
The Watermill Clinic is a modern private clinic offering personalised healthcare in a calm, professional and welcoming setting. We are looking for someone warm, proactive and digitally confident to join us in a unique hybrid role combining front-of-house reception, patient experience and content creation.
This would suit someone who enjoys working with people, has a natural eye for social media, and is excited by the opportunity to help develop a new clinic brand. You do not need to have worked in private healthcare before, but you will need to be professional, discreet, organised and keen to learn.
You will be the first point of contact for many of our patients, helping them feel welcomed and looked after from the moment they arrive or get in touch. Alongside this, you will help us tell the story of the clinic online by creating engaging, professional and appropriate content for our website and social media channels.
No two days will be the same. One moment you may be greeting patients and helping manage appointments; the next you may be taking photos of the clinic, drafting a social media post, supporting a newsletter, or helping plan a campaign around one of our services.
The role includes:
Patient experience and reception
- Welcoming patients in a warm, professional and friendly way.
- Managing appointments, enquiries and telephone calls.
- Keeping the reception area calm, tidy and welcoming.
- Supporting patients during their visit.
- Liaising with clinicians and the wider team.
- Carrying out administrative tasks accurately and confidentially.
Content creation and marketing
- Creating social media content, including photos, short videos, reels and stories.
- Helping plan and maintain a simple social media calendar.
- Drafting captions, website updates, newsletters and campaign content.
- Helping promote clinic services, events and health awareness campaigns.
- Capturing appropriate behind-the-scenes clinic content.
- Contributing ideas to grow the clinic's online presence.
- Ensuring all content is professional, accurate and respectful of patient confidentiality.
We are looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, approachable and confident with people.
- Organised, reliable and good at following things through.
- Creative, with an eye for photography, video and social media.
- Comfortable using platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and TikTok.
- A good communicator, both in person and in writing.
- Able to multitask while remaining calm and professional.
- Positive, proactive and willing to learn.
- Interested in healthcare, wellbeing, marketing or business development.
Experience that would be helpful:
- Reception, customer service, hospitality, retail or patient-facing experience.
- Creating social media content using a smartphone and simple editing apps.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and digital systems.
- Strong written English and attention to detail.
Previous healthcare experience is welcome but not essential. The right attitude, discretion and willingness to learn are more important.
