Derby Prestige Cars Limited is looking to recruit an experienced and skilled Vehicle Paint Sprayer / Bodyshop Technician to join our growing workshop team in Derby.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a fast-paced and professional automotive environment specialising in prestige vehicles, luxury 4x4s, performance cars, Volkswagen Transporters, and bespoke campervan conversions.
We are looking for somebody who takes genuine pride in their workmanship, maintains high standards throughout every stage of preparation and refinishing, and understands the level of quality expected when working with premium vehicles.
Main Responsibilities
- Vehicle preparation and paint refinishing
- Sanding, masking, priming, polishing, and finishing
- Full and partial resprays
- Colour matching and paint mixing
- Inspecting and rectifying paint defects
- Preparing vehicles to a consistently high standard
- General bodyshop and workshop duties
- Maintaining a clean and organised working environment
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Paint Sprayer / Bodyshop Technician
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Reliable, hardworking, and motivated
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good time management and workshop discipline
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Repair experience advantageous but not essential
- Full UK driving licence preferred
