We are seeking energetic and compassionate NIGHT STAFF - CARE ASSISTANTS to join our dedicated care team. Responsibilities
- Monitor residents throughout the night, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Respond promptly to residents’ needs, including assistance with mobility, medication reminders, or emotional support
- Maintain detailed care plans to track individual needs and preferences, updating them as necessary
- Communicate effectively with team members and healthcare professionals regarding residents’ conditions or concerns
- Assist with light domestic tasks such as tidying communal areas or preparing refreshments during night shifts
- Use IT systems to document incidents, care activities, and relevant observations accurately
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Strong communication skills in English to interact confidently with residents and team members
- Ability to drive and have access to own vehicle is essential
- Knowledge of care plans and ability to follow prescribed routines precisely
- Familiarity with IT systems used for record keeping and documentation
- A caring attitude with excellent observational skills to identify changes in residents’ conditions
- Flexibility to work night shifts on a regular basis, demonstrating reliability and professionalism

Pay: From £13.07 per hour
Expected hours: 8.0 – 40.0 per week
