Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our team. This role involves food preparation, cooking to order, maintaining and serving on carvery and ensuring adherence to food safety standards. The successful applicant will play a vital role in maintaining the high standards of our establishment while fostering a positive and efficient working environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, maintaining consistency and quality.
- caring out food production processes, ensuring timely delivery of meals.
- Manage food safety protocols and maintain cleanliness standards in accordance with regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to prevent shortages.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, promoting professional development and teamwork.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation at all times.
- Assist in serving customers when required, providing excellent hospitality service.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Strong background in food production, preparation, and cooking techniques.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous restaurant experience is preferred, along with serving skills to enhance guest satisfaction.
