Overview
We are seeking a Timber Building Erector to join our team. The ideal candidate would have a background in construction/building as this role involves the delivery and assembly of pre-fabricated timber buildings.
Responsibilities
- Erect timber structures as part of a team.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various construction tasks.
- Perform carpentry work, including cutting and installing timber components.
- Assist with roofing installation, ensuring proper alignment and weatherproofing.
Requirements
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the construction industry. Knowledge of window fitting would be useful.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour for extended periods.
- Full, clean driving licence, preferably with Class 3 (7.5 tonne) qualification.
As this is quite a niche role, all training will be given on-site. Early starts may be required
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £130.00-£160.00 per day
