Salary £27,534 - £28,437 per annum (pro rata for part-time)

About the Role
- Act as the administration team’s in person point of contact in the Finance Division office. Respond to straight forward general enquiries and redirect more complex queries as appropriate
- Provide general administrative support to the administration team as required
- General tidiness of the Finance Division kitchen ensuring a regular supply of milk through liaison with the café in OUP and monitoring other supplies of refreshments, informing the Administration Support Manager when items need reordering
- Ensure general tidiness of the Finance Division office. Monitor the clear desk policy and feedback to the administration team as appropriate
- Support with room bookings and ordering of catering for staff and their meetings, as required
- Unpack deliveries and put items away. Inform the Administration Support Manager of which deliveries have arrived
- Run reports as required by the administration team
- A commitment to demonstrating respect, courtesy and consideration in interactions with members of the University community.
- The post holder may be called upon to undertake other tasks or projects as commensurate with the grading and nature of the post; and to support and provide cover for colleagues as required.
About You
- Experience of customer facing work including dealing with straight forward queries
- Experience of general office administration
- The ability to work as part of a team in an office environment
- Experience of using own initiative
- Ability to use standard computer programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- A good understanding of issues around confidentiality
- Ability to understand and communicate clear and accurate information verbally and in writing
- Demonstrable ability to ensure attention to detail
- To be self-motivated and to work effectively, knowing when to refer matters to others
