The Role
No two days are the same at Mole Avon! We are looking for enthusiastic, hardworking, and adaptable team members to join our busy Axminster store on a part-time basis. Because our stores are particularly busy during peak retail trading times, regular weekend working is a core requirement for all of these positions, covering almost every weekend. Whether you are interacting directly with customers on the shop floor, keeping our shelves stocked, or handling behind-the-scenes operations, you will play a vital role in the daily success of our business.
What We Are Looking For:
- Availability to work regular weekends (almost every weekend is a must).
- A friendly, approachable manner with a passion for great customer service.
- A strong team player who is happy to roll up their sleeves and help out across different areas of the store.
- Good communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Previous retail, admin, or warehousing experience is a bonus, but full training will be provided.

Current Part-Time Opportunities Available:

- Admin (12 Hours per week):
- Role Description: Keep our store running smoothly behind the scenes. You will handle essential paperwork, process customer queries, complete accurate data entry, and provide vital day-to-day administrative support to the management team.
- Clothing & Footwear (12 Hours per week):
- Role Description: Help customers look and feel their best for rural life. You will assist shoppers with sizing and product advice, maintain high visual merchandising standards, and keep our popular apparel and footwear displays neat and fully stocked.
- Clothing & Footwear (8 Hours per week):
- Role Description: Help customers look and feel their best for rural life. You will assist shoppers with sizing and product advice, maintain high visual merchandising standards, and keep our popular apparel and footwear displays neat and fully stocked.
- Hardware (16 Hours per week):
- Role Description: Share your practical knowledge and help customers tackle their DIY and rural projects. You will advise on tools, equipment, and hardware supplies, keep shelves organized, and ensure the department is safe and accessible.
- Warehouse x2 Openings (12 Hours per week each):
- Role Description: Keep our stock flowing and our customers looked after. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role that involves a lot of manual labor, loading heavy goods, managing incoming deliveries, and organizing stockrooms. Please note: A valid forklift license, or a willingness to obtain one through us, is a necessity for these roles.
Pay: £8.00-£12.71 per hour
