About Us
Western Fuel is one of the largest independent, family-run fuel distributors in the Southwest, renowned for its high-quality delivery service. Due to growth and an increase in customers we are currently seeking a skilled and motivated full time Tanker Driver to join our team at our King Somborne depot.
The Role:
As a Tanker Driver, you will be an ambassador of the company, delivering fuel to residential, commercial and agricultural customers. You will be part of a professional team operating from our modern depot, you will drive high-spec vehicles equipped with the latest industry technology, ensuring the highest of safety standards are upheld.
Key Responsibilities:
· Multi-drop fuel deliveries to residential, commercial and Agricultural premises
· Ensuring excellent customer service and communication
· Safely operating and maintaining the vehicle
· Adhering to all company and industry safety regulations
Requirements:
· HGV Licence (Class C) – held for a minimum of 3 years
· Driver CPC – preferred, but training will be provided for the right candidate.
· ADR Class 3 certificate in tanks
· Excellent Health and Safety knowledge
· Knowledge of the local area is beneficial but not essential
· Excellent customer service and communication skills
· Previous experience in the fuel industry is preferential
What We Offer:
· OTE - £44000 - £50000+
· Monday to Friday
· Overtime rate after 42.5hrs
· Saturday rota (winter only)
· Saturday and Bank Holiday enhanced overtime rate.
· Monthly pay with an additional seasonal bonus
· Full-time, permanent position
· 20 Days holiday (increased to 25 with time served) + Bank Holidays
