WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE NIGHTS
FENSTANTON, CAMBRIDGESHIRE
A genuine, ongoing night-shift role for someone who has already worked nights and worked in a warehouse — picking, packing and loading vehicles — and is looking to settle in and build a career, not just try nights out.
BEFORE YOU APPLY — please check you meet all of these:
✓ At least 12 months' hands-on warehouse experience — picking, packing and loading goods
✓ Previous experience working night shifts or evenings
✓ Able to commit long-term to permanent night shifts: Sunday to Thursday, 18:30 until job finish (typically around 03:00)
✓ Looking to settle into a long-term role and build a career with us, not a short-term stopgap
✓ Full, valid UK driving licence — essential due to our location

What you'll be doing
- Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Loading delivery vehicles with a range of products, including glass, sheet materials, mouldings and sundries
- General warehouse duties, keeping the operation running smoothly and safely through the night
- Operating cutting machinery for glass, acrylic and MDF (full training provided if this is new to you)
Who we're looking for
Essential
- Previous experience working night shifts, or evening shifts, and genuinely available and committed to ongoing nights
- Full, valid driving licence
- Methodical and professional approach, with good attention to detail
- Comfortable with a physically demanding, fast-paced role
Desirable
- Minimum 12 months' recent experience in a warehouse environment, including picking, packing and vehicle loading
- Experience operating cutting machinery (glass, acrylic and MDF) — training given if you haven't done this before

Basic Rate: £15.74 per hour
Overtime Rate: £19.67 per hour
