We are looking for an experienced Panel Beater / Vehicle Prep Technician to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who takes pride in their work and wants to grow with a developing company.
The Role
As a Panel Beater / Vehicle Prep Technician, you will carry out high-quality vehicle body repairs and prepare vehicles to a professional standard for painting. You will play a key role in ensuring every repair meets our quality standards and is completed efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Repair damaged vehicle body panels using approved repair methods.
Remove, replace, and align damaged panels.
Carry out dent repairs, filling, shaping, and sanding.
Prepare repaired panels and complete vehicles ready for paint.
Mask vehicles and components for painting.
Identify any additional damage and report it to management.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
Work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
Follow all company health and safety procedures.
What We’re Looking For
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a vehicle body shop.
Experience in both panel beating and vehicle preparation.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Reliable, punctual, and motivated.
Full UK driving licence preferred.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday
7:30 am – 4:30 pm
60-minute unpaid break
40 paid hours per week
Salary & Benefits
From £12.00 per hour (depending on experience).
Overtime available.
