Stores Supervisor – Brooke Energy (Hemyock)

Brooke Energy is seeking a dependable and organised Stores Supervisor to oversee the daily operation of our Central Stores at our Head Office in Hemyock. This position plays a critical role in supporting our engineering and operational teams by ensuring the efficient management, control and distribution of parts and materials across the business.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for stock control, goods handling, ordering processes and the safe, compliant operation of the stores environment. This is a practical, hands-on role based within a yard and engineering stores setting, requiring accuracy, initiative and a professional approach. Full training will be provided on the company’s CMMS.
Key Responsibilities
- Goods-in and goods-out management for the Central Store
- Receipt, offloading and verification of deliveries against accompanying documentation
- Maintenance of accurate stock records and timely updates to the stores database
- Safe movement and storage of goods using a forklift
- Monitoring stock levels and identifying items requiring replenishment
- Raising, processing and closing purchase orders
- Ensuring correct labelling and structured storage of all parts and materials
- Maintaining a clean, safe and compliant store environment
- Adhering to all Health & Safety procedures

Candidate Requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- Recent forklift / fork truck experience (minimum 2 years)
- Confident using IT systems (training provided on CMMS)
- Self-motivated, reliable and well organised
- Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Comfortable working at pace within a small business environment
- Strong multitasking skills and a responsible approach to workload management
This role requires someone who can multitask and take responsibility in a fast-moving environment.
