Prestige1 Systems is a growing security systems company specialising in commercial CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarms, Intercom and associated security systems.
We are looking for an experienced Security Installation Engineer to join our growing team.
This is primarily an installation role, working on commercial security projects across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, London and surrounding areas.
The Role
As a Security Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, terminating and commissioning a range of electronic security systems.
Typical work will include:
- CCTV / Video Surveillance Systems
- Access Control
- Intruder Alarms
- Intercom / Door Entry
- Security cabling
- Containment
- Equipment installation and termination
- Testing and commissioning
- Working from drawings and project specifications
- Liaising with project managers, clients and other contractors
Our projects range from smaller commercial installations through to larger, multi-site projects working alongside established security integrators.
About You
We're looking for an engineer who takes pride in their work and can work professionally and independently on commercial sites.
Essential:
- Minimum 2 years experience in electronic security installation
- Experience with CCTV, access control and/or intruder alarms
- Good understanding of security cabling and containment
- Ability to read drawings and follow specifications
- Good communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable:
- Experience with Paxton, Gallagher, Avigilon, Hikvision, Hanwha, Texecom, Galaxy, Risco or similar systems
- Commercial installation experience
- Experience working for or alongside major security integrators
- ECS / CSCS or other relevant site qualifications
- Networking experience
