Role Overview
We’re looking for a warm, confident and reliable Front of House team member (18+) to join us over the summer holidays. Because alcohol is served, this role is strictly for applicants aged 18 and over. We need someone who genuinely enjoys working with people, can read a room, and understands how to make guests feel comfortable and looked after. Experience with coffee or cocktails would be ideal, but the main thing is someone who fits our team energy and can support us during our busiest season.
Key Responsibilities
- Greeting customers with warmth and confidence
- Making coffees to a consistent standard
- Preparing and serving cocktails (training provided if needed)
- Taking orders and managing customer flow
- Running food and drinks between kitchen and tables
- Setting up and clearing tables
- Reading the room — anticipating needs, spotting when someone needs help, keeping the atmosphere calm and welcoming
- Supporting the team during busy summer holiday periods
- Following all food safety and alcohol service guidelines
What We’re Looking For
- 18+ (alcohol service required)
- Someone naturally friendly, confident and great with customers
- Ability to stay calm and organised in a busy environment
- Experience with coffee or cocktails is ideal, but not essential
- Strong communication skills
- Reliability and flexibility — summer holidays are extremely busy for us, so extra hours will be available
- Someone who can start as soon as possible
