An operations director level role within a major programme environment to engage and work collaboratively with key stakeholders.
Due to the strict security requirements, candidates must be a UK National and will need to progress through security clearance and travel to multiple UK based project offices.
You’ll be responsible for:

Directing the delivery of key assignments and oversees the implementation of project strategies, providing strategic direction and monitoring delivery aligned with overall vision and objectives.

Promoting safety first, exhibiting visible safety behaviours, sharing lessons learned and using safety moments, safety tours and the HSW framework. Supports the safety and wellbeing of all staff.

Determining and assembling project team resources, including required external specialist appointments and the recruitment of new staff.

Improving performance from the bid baseline by optimizing multi-disciplinary resources, monitors, reviews and evaluates activities, systems, and methodologies as well as cross-selling.

Conversion of client’s vision into a deliverable plan that includes and exploits the full benefits of construction to production (C2P), Net Zero Carbon, and Digital and Data innovation.

Manage and deliver the end-to-end transition plan covering organisational changes, knowledge retention, scope adjustment and operating model changes associated with (1) the transition of PrP to a client-side service and (2) preparation towards the post-Phase 3 delivery model.

Act as a point of contact for transition administration and bring organisation to the activities.

Protect PrP service continuity and delivery performance throughout the transition period.

Manage people-related risks, including capability retention, morale, and handover effectiveness.
You’ll need to have:

Strong technical problem-solving capability.

Lifecycle planning and delivery expertise.

Effective stakeholder engagement and collaboration.

Major project experience in complex environments.

SQEP trained for nuclear engineering/design/PM roles essential.
