Nixos Greek Street Food are looking for a new member to join our kitchen team at its new location in Tollcross!
The role includes, but is not limited to food preparation, grilling, food presentation, wrapping pitas, working the pass, competent use of gyros machines, ensuring quality and hygiene safety of food, thorough cleaning of the kitchen throughout the day and at the end of shift.
Experience in food preparation, food safety and hygiene and general kitchen skills are essential, however we will also be providing full training on the job. We ask that you are willing to learn and enthusiastic about this opportunity. A genuine love for Greek food is essential however!
To be well suited for this role, the successful candidate will be a fast learner, work well under pressure, have strong communication skills with the rest of the team and be willing to work as a team!
It can be challenging on shift so we ask that you have a good sense of humour and can keep calm under pressure! Having said that, the job can be very rewarding and good fun!
