We're now looking for an enthusiastic and organised Wedding & Events Executive to join our Weddings team on a part-time basis.

The Role
This is a varied role combining wedding operations, planning support and social media content creation, giving you the opportunity to play an active role in every stage of our couples' journey.
Working alongside our Weddings, Operations and Marketing teams, you'll help ensure every wedding runs seamlessly whilst also showcasing the incredible celebrations taking place at Holdsworth House through engaging social media content.
You'll become an important part of our wedding delivery team, supporting the planning and operational running of weddings, assisting with venue presentation, coordinating suppliers and ensuring every detail is delivered to the exceptionally high standards our couples expect.
No two days are the same.
Key Responsibilities
Wedding Operations
- Support the operational delivery of weddings and events.
- Assist with ceremony and reception set-up.
- Welcome suppliers and ensure smooth event preparation.
- Support wedding day coordination alongside the Operations team.
- Provide operational cover during holidays and busy periods.
- Help maintain the exceptional presentation standards throughout the venue.
Wedding Administration
- Assist with function sheets and event documentation.
- Liaise with couples and suppliers where required.
- Prepare wedding paperwork and operational information.
- Support the Weddings team with planning administration.
- Ensure accurate records are maintained across hotel systems.
Social Media & Content Creation
- Capture photographs and videos from weddings and events (where appropriate).
- Create engaging social media content including reels, stories and posts.
- Schedule and manage social media content.
- Encourage guest reviews and supplier collaborations.
- Help showcase real weddings across our digital platforms.
- Work closely with our Marketing team to maintain the Holdsworth House brand.
About You
We're looking for someone who is naturally organised, creative and enjoys working with people.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience within hospitality, weddings or events.
- A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Confidence working in a busy operational environment.
- A creative eye for photography, video and social media.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- A flexible approach and willingness to work weekends during the wedding season.
- The ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
Experience creating content for Instagram, Facebook or TikTok is preferred.
Working Pattern
This role is offered on a part-time basis of 16–24 hours per week, with hours agreed according to the successful candidate.
Weekend working will form an important part of the role to support weddings and events, together with occasional evening work for showcases and functions.
Additional hours may be available during peak wedding season or to provide holiday cover.
