Dental Receptionist
SA Smile Clinic – Glasgow City Centre
We are a busy, friendly dental practice located in Glasgow city centre, offering both NHS and private treatments. We are looking for a full-time Dental Receptionist to join our welcoming and professional team. We would also consider part-time applicants (hours can be discussed).
This role is ideal for an experienced dental receptionist or a dental nurse looking to transition into a front-of-house position.
Working Hours
- Monday – Wednesday: 8:45am – 6:00pm
- Thursday: 8:45am – 7:00pm
- Friday: 8:45am – 4:00pm
- No weekends
About the Role
As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a key role in delivering an excellent patient experience and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcoming patients and providing a friendly, professional service
- Managing appointment bookings and patient queries
- Handling phone calls and correspondence
- Maintaining accurate patient records using SOE / Exact software
- Supporting the clinical team with administrative tasks
- Ensuring the reception area is organised and presentable
Requirements
- Previous experience in a dental environment (preferred)
- Familiarity with SOE / Exact software (desirable)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Reliable with excellent timekeeping
- A positive, team-focused attitude
