We have a great opportunity for a Temporary Production Operator to join our Gold Stamping team in Swindon.
Working as part of the Production team, you will be trained to operate manual hot foiling/gold stamping presses to produce high-quality finishes on a range of Smythson leather products. You will develop the skills required to accurately stamp names, initials and designs to the high standards expected of the brand.
The role requires excellent attention to detail, a steady hand and a commitment to quality. You will work closely with the Team Leader and wider team to achieve production targets while maintaining a safe, clean and organised working environment.
Key responsibilities include:
Operating manual hot foiling/gold stamping presses following full training.
Producing high-quality gold stamping on a variety of leather products.
Accurately following customer and production specifications.
Maintaining high standards of quality and minimising waste.
Working towards agreed production targets.
Recording production accurately on daily worksheets.
Following all company health & safety procedures.

Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills.
Willing to learn and develop new skills.
Previous experience in print finishing, production or a skilled hand-finishing environment would be advantageous, but full training will be provided.
This role is full-time, for an initial one-month contract, with the potential for an extension up to two months.
