We’re growing quickly, and that means we’re looking for a motivated and organised individual to join our team as a Business Administration Apprentice.
Based in our modern waterfront office in Event Square, Maritime House, Falmouth, you’ll gain hands-on experience supporting both business-to-business (B2B) and customer (B2C) operations. No two days are the same, and you’ll learn valuable skills that can set you up for a long-term career.
Responsibilities
- Answering telephone and email enquiries.
- Maintaining accurate records and filing systems.
- Scheduling meetings and managing diaries.
- Preparing documents, reports, and correspondence.
- Updating company databases and CRM systems.
- Supporting finance and HR with administrative tasks.
- Ordering office supplies and managing stock.
- Assisting with projects and events.
- Providing excellent customer service.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the business.
- Completing apprenticeship coursework and attending training sessions.
- Regularly meet with managers and supervisors to track progress.
Skills
- Previous office experience or familiarity with administrative roles is advantageous
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets)
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Good typing speed and accuracy for data entry tasks
- Demonstrated clerical experience supporting busy office environments
- Knowledge of QuickBooks or similar financial software is a plus
- Professional phone etiquette and clear communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new tools and procedures in a fast-paced setting
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Good attention to detail and organisation skills
- Confidence using computers (or willingness to build your skills)
- Someone who takes pride in completing tasks accurately and on time
Entry requirements:
- GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 (or above)
- Work authorisation: United Kingdom
- Work location: In person (Falmouth) – Must be able to reliably commute to the office.

Additional information:
