If you are experienced in quality and compliance in healthcare, especially with leadership and CQC background, Tezlom have a fantastic role for you.
Initially 3 days per week to cover maternity, we are looking for a Quality and Compliance Manager to work for a large homecare organisation, with central office based in Westminster.
The role works closely with the Registered Manager and team, and ensure that the service is audited and reporting on monthly Quality Assurance (QA) related issues of the organisations. Compliance meetings are conducted weekly with Care Co-ordinators and FCS, and IT/ECM Administrator to ensure service delivery is safe and in line with CQC and WCC’s contractual obligations. Ensuring that all office staff and care staff training are carried out in accordance with the CQC standards.
The branch is successful and busy, with contracts with multiple care councils and packages, therefore we are seeking a determined individual to work diligently and thoroughly to ensure the branch adheres to policy and procedure.
Roles Include:
- Maintain full and accurate records and reporting systems in accordance with legal requirements to ensure the effective running of branch.
- Implement quality management and improvement systems. Effectively manage complaints and incidents.
- Carry out investigations relating to the quality of the service and use findings to make improvements.
- Be prepared to work flexibly to ensure the safe delivery of the service.
- Provide the clients, and where appropriate their representatives, with information about the service so that they are clear about what to expect and how they can raise any concerns.
- Apply excellent communication skills with clients, their families and representatives, staff and other health and social care professionals to deliver high quality homecare services.
- Keep all information about clients and their families secure and confidential.
- Signpost staff to guidance and advice on policies and CQC standards
- Ensure the most up to date policies and associated documents are accessible and used appropriately in practice.
- Carry out audits to ensure standards are constantly maintained
Experience/Qualifications Required:
- Knowledge/background of CQC
- Experience working with packages of care/TUPE desirable
- NVQ 5 Leadership and Management/equivalent
- Excellent understanding of the needs of people who require care and support at home and the provision of homecare services in line with best practices.
- Good understanding of the regulatory responsibilities of a Registered Manager and the law relating to domiciliary care services.
