Hebburn Court Care Home is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to provide exceptional, person-centred care to residents with complex mental health needs, dementia, and other long-term conditions. Our care home offers nursing, residential, dementia, and specialist mental health services in a supportive and professional environment.
About the Role
As a Registered Mental Health Nurse, you will:
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual care plans.
- Administer medications safely and in accordance with NMC guidelines.
- Support residents experiencing mental health conditions, dementia, and challenging behaviours.
- Work collaboratively with GPs, psychiatrists, families, and the multidisciplinary team.
- Lead and supervise care staff, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained.
- Promote dignity, independence, safeguarding, and person-centred care.
Requirements
- Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a valid NMC PIN.
- Previous experience working in mental health, dementia, or elderly care settings.
- Excellent clinical assessment and communication skills.
- Strong leadership and team-working abilities.
- Compassionate, patient-focused, and committed to delivering outstanding care.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and nights if required.
