Responsibilities
Assist senior tilers in preparing work sites by setting up tools, materials, and protective coverings.
Learn to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
Help measure, cut, and shape tiles using hand tools such as tile cutters, chisels, and levels.
Support the installation of tiles on floors, walls, and other surfaces following safety guidelines and best practices.
Participate in mixing and applying construction paints or sealants as needed for finishing touches.
Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste materials responsibly.
Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe workspace for yourself and team members.
Experience
No prior professional experience required; however, construction experience or familiarity with hand tools is a plus.
Basic knowledge of carpentry or previous exposure to working with power tools is advantageous.
Strong interest in learning construction techniques, including reading schematics and understanding building layouts.
Willingness to follow instructions carefully and develop new skills through hands-on training.
Ability to work outdoors or on-site in various weather conditions with a positive attitude.
Prior experience in construction painting or related trades can be beneficial but is not mandatory.
Pay: £15.24-£27.84 per hour
