We are seeking a MEP & Fabric Asset Manager to lead the delivery, quality assurance, and continuous improvement of the Asset Register across the portfolio.
This role ensures that MEP and Fabric asset data is accurate, complete, and governed in line with Uniclass 2015, ISO 19650, ISO 55001, and Asset Information Requirements (AIR).
Job Description
We are looking for a professional who will drive efficient, standardised survey operations, optimising resource utilisation and processes to improve productivity and reduce waste.
The role provides strategic oversight of survey activities, manages internal and third-party teams, and enhances data quality, consistency, and integration to support operational delivery, statutory compliance, lifecycle decision-making, and audit readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee MEP & Fabric asset survey delivery, ensuring use of approved mobile data capture tools and standardised methodologies
- Ensure all asset data, attributes, metadata, and Uniclass 2015 classifications are accurately completed and aligned to AIR and asset tag strategy
- Provide technical assurance of survey outputs, verifying asset presence, specification, condition, and lifecycle data
- Identify data gaps, duplication, and end-of-life risks across the asset portfolio
- Manage data quality and integrity through structured QA processes and drive corrective actions
- Develop, implement, and maintain training materials and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Develop and maintain periodic reporting dashboards to provide structured insight across survey teams
- Drive continuous improvement of survey processes and asset data standards, enhancing efficiency and reducing rework
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
- Proven experience leading MEP & Fabric asset surveys across complex commercial or public sector estates
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, lighting, life safety systems, and building fabric interfaces
- Demonstrated capability in managing asset registers with a focus on data quality, governance, and reporting integrity
- Effective leadership of survey teams and digital survey solutions, driving efficiency, consistency, and continuous improvement
- Must hold full UK driving licence (car/car allowance provided)
