We are looking for an experienced front of house server to join our cafe team. This is a full time roll and will require most weekends so please only apply if you can work both Saturdays, Sunday and bank holidays.

We cater to a wide variety of customers & clients, with our main objective being to provide everyone who visits us, with a great experience, derived from great customer service and tasty homemade food.

4-5 days per week
(approx 30-42 hours per week)
Salary negotiable, but will be based on experience
Must be available weekends!!
Ideally someone trained on a barista coffee machine
General duties day to day;
- Greeting and serving customers in a professional, warm, friendly and genuine manner
- Preparing and serving a range of beverages (mainly coffee)
- Barista trained
- Maintaining highest standards at all times, setting up tables, rooms for private functions, afternoon tea bookings or general reservations
- Care about customer satisfaction and deliver the optimal client service experience
- Serving guests in a friendly, welcoming and efficient manner while maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Help answer questions and make suggestions regarding food and beverage choices and related items
- Always report on time and in clean attire
- Be comfortable using/learning our tablet till system
- Cleaning down the cafe at the end of the day, also pot washing throughout the day
The successful candidate should have;
- Good verbal communication skills and high awareness of customer service
- Experience making great coffee!!

- Having high energy and stamina, with an ability to work for long hours standing in a fast paced environment
- Being a team player with an ability to resolve conflict and take criticism
- Patience and an ability to promote the menu in line with customer needs are highly valued
- Good attention to detail and punctuality

Pay: £10.85-£13.00 per hour
