We are looking for a fully qualified MOT Tester due to Class 7 MOT expansion.
The ideal candidate will have exceptional customer service and time management skills, be able to work on their own and as part of a team. Have a confident and efficient approach to servicing and a proven proficiency in all aspects of diagnostic.
As well as MOT testing the job can entail;
-Pre MOT check & MOT failure repairs
- Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs, including but not limited to engine diagnostics, brake repairs, and electrical system troubleshooting
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on vehicles
- Complete work orders and maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns and inquiries
- Operate various tools and equipment required for vehicle repairs
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work area
Therefore a good knowledge & experience would be preferred however not essential.
Please note the salary for this position is dependent on experience and qualifications.
The working week is 42 hours over 5 days Monday to Friday. 8am - 5pm - Mon/Wed/Fri and 7am - 5pm Tue/Thur. Overtime is available.
Requirements:
- A relevant formal up to date MOT qualification
- Your own set of tools.
- Current experience in vehicle maintenance and repair
- Valid driver's license
