Duties
- Perform comprehensive inspections of light vehicles using schematics and technical manuals to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance tasks including engine work, brake servicing, suspension adjustments, and electrical diagnostics.
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to execute repairs efficiently and safely.
- Interpret technical diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems effectively.
- Assist with the assembly of vehicle components and perform routine maintenance to prevent future issues.
- Lift heavy parts or equipment safely during repairs or maintenance activities, adhering to safety protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair work clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.
Experience
- Proven experience working with schematics, mechanical systems, and vehicle repair techniques.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of light vehicles including engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and suspension components.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques for vehicle repairs.
- Experience performing maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid replacements.
- Ability to lift heavy parts or equipment safely during repair procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail when diagnosing vehicle issues.
- Prior customer service experience is a plus to ensure positive interactions with clients.
