```Job Overview:
We are seeking GCSE, A-level English and Business Study Tutors to join our team. As a Tutor, you will work closely with students to help them prepare for various standardised tests. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about education and have experience working with children.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one/ small group tutoring sessions to students preparing for GCSE or A-Level exams
- Create personalised study plans based on each student's strengths and weaknesses
- Teach test-taking strategies and techniques to improve performance
- Review and explain test content and concepts
- Administer practice tests and assess student progress
- Track and report student performance to parents or guardians
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
Experience:
- Previous tutoring experience, particularly in test preparation
- Strong educational background with a focus on relevant subjects
- Experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting
- Knowledge of various standardised tests and their formats
- Familiarity with test content and scoring criteria
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of students
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to motivate students
