Are you passionate about great food and delivering outstanding customer service? We're looking for a friendly, enthusiastic Retail Sales Assistant to join our team at our busy Stamford High Street shop.
Grasmere Farm has proudly served the Stamford community for over 15 years. As a family-run business, we're renowned for our award-winning pork, traditional butchery, and commitment to offering customers the very best quality produce and service.
This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same. Whether you're preparing products, serving customers or helping keep the shop looking its best, you'll play an important part in our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting in the preparation of our range of products, including value packs and convenient meal solutions
- Serving customers with friendly, knowledgeable service and offering cooking advice where appropriate
- Maintaining attractive, well-stocked displays throughout the shop
- Operating our hot food counter
- Ensuring the shop is clean, tidy and presented to the highest standards
- Supporting colleagues with the day-to-day running of the shop
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, approachable and enjoys working with people
- Passionate about good food and quality produce
- Reliable, hardworking and willing to get stuck in
- A positive team player with excellent communication skills
- Flexible to provide additional cover for holidays and busy periods when required
Previous retail or food experience is an advantage, but full training will be provided, so enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are more important.
