Overview
We are seeking a motivated and reliable MOT Assistant to join our automotive service team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop practical skills within vehicle inspection processes. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced technicians to support MOT testing procedures, ensuring vehicles meet safety and environmental standards. This position is ideal for individuals interested in a way into work.
Duties
- Assist with the preparation and assisting with inspection of vehicles prior to MOT testing, including checking lights, tyres, brakes, and other essential components
- Support the team during the MOT testing process, ensuring all safety protocols are followed
- Ensure the workshop environment remains clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
- Good hearing.
- Assist with routine workshop paper work.
- Answering phones .
- Filing paper work.
- Driving Licence or experience working with vehicles is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
Pay: £12.50 per hour
