Lambton House is a 57 bedroom family run care home for people with residential and dementia care needs. The home has been established over 30 years.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, good humoured, well-mannered, and committed Kitchen Assistant to join the team at Lambton.
Whether we are providing long or short-term, convalescence, respite or palliative care, our focus is on always providing the highest quality service.
We wish to speak to you if you are a compassionate, can-do person with experience supporting older people. You should be good at using your initiative and working well under pressure.
It is a role where we need you to happily go the extra mile to make a difference to the lives of older, frail people.
Your role
As a Kitchen Assistant you will help to provide the first-class food and hospitality that enable our residents to enjoy a healthy, nutritious diet which is vital to ensuring our residents’ wellbeing and helping them enjoy daily life. You will help to serve meals and create a fulfilling dining experience for every resident. You’ll be an asset to your colleagues and your impact will reach beyond the kitchen. We would like you to get to know our residents, enhance their hospitality experience and develop your skills.
