We are looking for an accounts / bookkeeping assistant with administration experience to assist in the daily operations of our growing business.
The main duties of this position are outlined below:
BOOKKEEPING
- Purchase/sales ledger
- Bank reconciliation
- Profit and loss
- Cash flow management
- Tax payable
- Invoicing
- Accounts payable
- Payroll (PAYE)
- C.I.S tax (construction industry scheme tax)
- Domestic reverse VAT charge for construction
Experience with Xero is advantageous.
ADMINISTRATION
- Filing job sheets
- Assist in organising and scheduling planned works
- Office filing
- Insurances
- Vehicle documents
- Assist in business streamlining and internal systems, budgeting and forecasts.
- Communication assistance (phone and email)

Experience
- Xero accounting
- Demonstrable experience in data entry within a financial or administrative context
- Prior exposure to accounts payable processes within a financial services environment is preferred
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all work undertaken
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is essential
