As a family-run business, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional service to both landlords and tenants. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a motivated Lettings Assistant to join our friendly team.
The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lettings Assistant to join our office based in Bedhampton, Havant. We manage a large portfolio of residential properties across Portsmouth and the surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities
· Coordinate maintenance requests and liaise with contractors to ensure issues are resolved promptly.
· Respond to tenant enquiries, complaints, and maintenance issues in a professional and timely manner.
· Assist with the day-to-day management of our residential property portfolio.
· Conduct property viewings to minimise vacant periods.
· Complete pre-tenancy checks and prepare tenancy documentation.
· Carry out inventory reports.
· Conduct regular property inspections.
· Ensure all property compliance requirements are completed and maintained.
· Keep our property management software up to date with accurate records.
· Be available to assist with occasional out-of-hours emergencies, including evenings and weekends when required.
· Contribute ideas and suggestions to help improve the business.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
· Has a friendly, confident, and outgoing personality.
· Is keen to be part of a fast-growing local business.
· Holds a full UK driving licence and has access to their own vehicle.
· Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Is well organised with strong time management skills.
· Is confident using Microsoft Office and other computer systems.
· Has good local knowledge of Portsmouth and the surrounding areas.
· Works well independently as well as part of a team.
· Enjoys working towards targets – and earning an early finish on a Friday when the weekly target is achieved!
Hours
This is an office-based role from our home office in Bedhampton, Havant.
We are looking for either:
· Full-time: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm
or
· School hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30am – 2:30pm
